Dog Boarding

Wouldn’t you want to trust your pet to your veterinarian’s care? At Newburgh Veterinary Hospital, we offer a variety of accommodations and activities to ensure your pet’s stay is both relaxing and enjoyable. Our resort building, a charming Victorian-style home, features spacious 15x15 bedroom suites among other options. Our experienced and professional staff, under the supervision of our veterinarians, is committed to pampering and caring for your pets as if they were their own. Please note that all boarding fees are subject to NYS tax.

For our canine boarders:

  • We request that no belongings are brought during your pets stay.
  • A boarding deposit of $37 must be made at time of reservation.
  • For those boarding with multiple pets, a multiple occupancy discount of 25% off each additional pet* is added when lodging together. If you are boarding additional pets that cannot stay together, a multiple pet discount of 10% off each additional* is applied when pets lodge separately.
  • For those staying 10 or more nights, a 10% discount off total* is applied.
  • Bathing and/or fitness packages may be added to your pet's stay.

Canine Boarding

Boarding your pet with Newburgh Veterinary Hospital comes with:

  • An orthopedic bed
  • Breakfast, dinner and a bedtime snack
  • Fresh water all day
  • Walked 3 times a day and playtime at our playground

Boarding Prices

  • 3' x 4' Indoor Kennels—$44.50 a night (for guests 35 lbs. & under)
  • 3' x 6' Indoor Runs—$53 a night
  • 4' x 6' Indoor Runs—$65 a night
  • Giants & Yankees Luxury Mini-Suites—$78.50 a night
  • Luxury Suites**: Senior, Adirondack, Garden or LakeView—$87 a night

Four or more nights in either the Giants & Yankees Luxury Mini-Suites and your pet receives a complimentary bath!

Reservations

Drop Off & Pick-Up Times

  • Pets can be dropped off Monday - Friday from 2pm-6pm, Saturday - Sunday from 2pm-5pm.
    • For an additional fee of $27, arrangements may be made for drop-off as early as 10:30am. Drop-offs earlier than 10:30am will incur an additional night charge.
  • Pick-up times are Monday - Sunday by noon.
    • Pets picked up after 1 pm will incur an additional charge.

Extras

  • Medication: A daily charge of 60¢ per dose of any medication / supplement that must be administered.
  • Intestinal parasites and/or fleas treatment: Any pet deemed to have worms or fleas will be treated at the client’s expense for the cleanliness of our facility and the safety of our boarders.
  • Treat your pet to a luxurious bath with many additional services as well!

Boarding & Daycare Requirements

All dogs must be current on their physical exam and vaccines, including distemper, canine influenza, rabies, and bordetella. Pets must have been proven within the past 6 months to be free of all intestinal and external parasites.

* Only 1 boarding discount applies.
** Suites are not suitable for all dogs, some restrictions may apply.
